Sandra Bullock is a popular Hollywood actress who is at ease in both comic and serious roles. Born to American contractor father J W Bullock and German opera singer mother Helga Meyer, she graduated from the East Carolina University. After a brief stint in Independent films, she acted in a lead role in television production Bionic Showdown: The Six-Million-Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman in 1989.
Coming to Hollywood, Sandra Bullock took a role in the 1992 film Love Potion No. 9. The following year she managed to get roles in three films, notable of which was Demolition Man. 1994 was the turning point in her career as she won the Saturn Award as Best Actress for blockbuster Crash. Sandra was nominated for American Comedy Award and Golden Globe Award for 1995’s While You Are Sleeping. She also won Golden Apple Award as Female Star of the Year in 1995.

Here she was to takes letters for the new head honcho, one John Bullock. Bullock, originally from Birmingham, Alabama, was a Juilliard scholar who'd joined the Army as a runner and risen to become the boss of the military Postal Exchange for the whole of Europe.
